Terms of Use
1. Acceptance of terms
These Terms of Use ("Terms") form a legally binding agreement between you and Hakan Celik ("we", "us", "our") governing your access to and use of Meld (the "App"). By downloading, installing or using the App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. License
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, solely for personal, non-commercial purposes.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 4 years old to use the App. If you are under the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian to download and use the App and to make in-app purchases.
4. User conduct
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or attempt to derive the source code of the App, except as permitted by law.
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that interferes with its operation.
- Cheat, use unauthorized automation, exploits or modified clients to submit fake scores to Game Center leaderboards.
- Distribute, sublicense, lease, sell or rent the App, or attempt to bypass its in-app purchase mechanisms.
We reserve the right to invalidate leaderboard scores or progress obtained through violations of these Terms.
5. In-app purchases
The App offers optional in-app purchases — consumable items (hint packs, stars), non-consumable items (Remove Ads, premium color palettes), and bundles. All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment information.
- Consumables (hints, stars) are single-use and depleted as you spend them.
- Non-consumables (Remove Ads, palettes) are permanent and can be restored via the in-game market using "Restore Purchases" if you delete and reinstall the App.
- Refunds are handled by Apple according to their refund policy.
- Prices may vary by region and may change at any time. Any change will apply only to future purchases.
6. Ads
The App may display interstitial and rewarded video ads through Google AdMob. Ad behaviour and data handling are described in our Privacy Policy. You can remove ads permanently by purchasing Remove Ads (available standalone or as part of a bundle) from the in-game market.
7. Intellectual property
The App, including all artwork, source code, game mechanics, level designs, sound effects, text and trademarks, is owned by Hakan Celik and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or to create derivative works.
8. Availability & updates
We may release updates, patches, or new features from time to time. Some updates may be required to continue using the App. We do not guarantee that the App or any specific feature will remain available, compatible with every device, or free from errors.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any data will be preserved.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hakan Celik shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive or exemplary damages — including loss of profits, loss of data, or loss of game progress — arising out of or in connection with your use of the App. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the App is limited to the amount you paid for the App and in-app purchases in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Termination
These Terms remain in effect until terminated by you or by us. You may terminate by deleting the App from your device. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms. Sections relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law survive termination.
12. Apple's Standard EULA
In addition to these Terms, your use of the App is governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement. Apple is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for the App or its content. However, Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries and may enforce these Terms against you.
13. Changes to these terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the Last updated date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms. The latest version is always published at meld.hakancelik.dev/terms.html.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Istanbul, Türkiye, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence provide otherwise.
